Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive safety program for oncology compounds, ensuring effective management of adverse events from end-to-end.
  • Lead key safety initiatives to prevent, mitigate, and address critical safety issues, including protocol amendments, Dear HCP letters, and medical education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prospective contingency plans for assigned safety risks, ensuring effective alignment and communication.
  • Consult with key experts and communicate directly with clinical sites to ensure patient safety remains top of mind in the clinical trial setting and beyond.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of Clinical Development processes, driving excellence in oncology R&D.

Requirements:

  • MD required; Board certification in Oncology preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 2 years in Patient Safety and 2 years in Clinical Development.
  • Proven expertise in oncology clinical and medical affairs, with experience working in a matrix environment and on cross-functional teams.

Travel Requirements: Local and global travel may be required up to 20%.
