Job ResponsibilitiesThis role as an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Psychiatric Nurse involves providing medication management and administration in conjunction with a psychiatrist. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychiatric assessments to identify individualized treatment plans.
- Assessing physical health needs and making referrals to community physicians as necessary.
- Providing a range of treatments, including psychosocial rehabilitation and support services to the ACT Team.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master's, B.A., or associate degree in nursing, with LNAs considered.
- A current RN license in New Hampshire.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting, with preference given to those with related work history.
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care and respect for individuals' rights and preferences.
- The ability to establish trusting relationships with clients and work collaboratively in a team environment.
