About the Role

This is a 12-month opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have experience as a pharmacist within the past 36 months in the US and hold an active BLS certification.

Responsibilities
  • Process medication orders from prescriptions and enter them into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify prescribed medications are on the unit formulary and check for drug-drug and drug-food interactions.
  • Independently work and potentially be the sole pharmacist on certain occasions, reviewing medication orders for completeness and appropriateness.
  • Accurately fill prescriptions and counsel patients on medications, maintaining complete records, especially for controlled medications.
Requirements
  • Graduation Certificate from an Accredited Pharmacy School.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist within the past 36 months in the US.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Active Pharmacist License.
