We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team at Wichita Dermatology & Aesthetics. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process patient invoices and insurance claims for dermatology services with precision and accuracy.
  • Verify billing information, resolve discrepancies with insurance providers and patients, and maintain organized records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure accurate coding and billing practices.
  • Foster relationships with insurance companies to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Participate in month-end closing activities and post insurance payments into our EPM system.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in outpatient medical billing, preferably in dermatology or a related healthcare field.
  • Proficiency in medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance verification processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with billing software (ModMed) and Google Suite is highly desirable.
Benefits
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
