Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for preparing pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds on pipe assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prep pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds on pipe assemblies
  • Read and interpret drawings, engineering sketches, and blueprints
  • GTA weld on carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex stainless steel
  • Calculate pipe fitting take-outs on piping measurements
  • Weld pipe diameters ranging from 1/2 to 36 in all positions
  • Operate a high frequency amperage control foot pedal while welding
  • Weld structural steel in all positions
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in MIG and carbon welding
  • Must pass various weld tests
  • Passing of Background check and drug screen
  • Must have hood rod and PPE
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
