About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Specialist to join our team at ExpertHiring. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting hearing-impaired students in their learning programs through interpretation in both general education and special education settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting hearing-impaired students in adapting instructional programming and materials for effective learning.
  • Providing interpretation services and assistance to students with hearing impairments.
  • Collecting and recording data concerning student progress as requested by teachers.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous successful classroom experience working with students, preferably those with hearing impairments.
  • Certification in American Sign Language (ASL).

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and students to ensure that every individual receives the support they need to thrive. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental coverage, and vision insurance.
