Cash Handling Specialist Job Opportunity at Food City

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cash Handling Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash accurately and efficiently, counting change and making deposits as needed.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions, and managing cash and credit card payments.
  • Maintain a safe and secure store environment by following company policies and procedures, including the handling of cash and merchandise.
  • Assist with stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $13-$16 per hour
