About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient support under the direction of nursing staff. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, monitoring, and documenting pertinent patient data, performing patient rounding, and ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a certified nursing assistant certificate or completion of the PCT residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center or Nursing Fundamentals and skills course in nursing school. You should also possess basic life support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience in acute care inpatient hospital settings is preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
