Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our healthcare system. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a physician to provide respiratory care and stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed doses of medical gases and aerosolized drugs to patients
  • Operate and maintain various oxygen and therapeutic gas equipment
  • Record data obtained during therapy and diagnostic testing in patient charts
  • Draw, analyze and report Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) to physicians and nurses
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Graduate degree from an approved American Medical Association school for Respiratory Therapy
  • Certification as a Respiratory Therapist and licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care
  • The ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as explain clinical procedures
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
