As a Finance Co-op, you will work closely with our finance teams to implement concepts learned in the classroom. You will have the opportunity to work in various finance areas, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Research & Development Finance, Internal Audit, Tax, and other finance areas.
Responsibilities may include budget support, capital budgeting, financial consolidation, month/year end closing procedures, sales reporting and analysis, account reconciliation, and inter-company accounting. You will also have the opportunity to develop innovative methods to improve job metrics and processes.
This position is overtime eligible, and Co-Ops/Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate or Fifth Year Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a business-related major with an expected graduation date in 2025, 2026, or 2027. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
Legal authorization to work in the United States, without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, is required.
Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP)
The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a two-and-a-half-year program designed to prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the finance organization. Participants will develop critical leadership and technical skills through rotational assignments at J&J business units, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching and feedback.
Training courses provide overviews of the various functions within J&J and follow a robust and interactive curriculum that helps develop FLDP participants on key competencies such as problem-solving/analysis, technical skills, business knowledge, teamwork, and leadership.
