Job Overview

The Educational Alliance Inc. is seeking a Membership Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with members and guests.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working 19 hours per week. Various shifts are available, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and hospitality, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding customer experience, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and courteous manner. You will also be responsible for processing membership sales, class registrations, and other transactions while maintaining accurate records and performing daily reconciliation tasks.

Sales and Engagement

You will offer tours to prospective members, complete follow-up procedures, and sell memberships using a consultant-based approach. Your goal will be to build rapport and foster relationships within the community, representing the brand and core values of the 14 Street Y.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary estimated at $42,000 per year, based on 19 hours of work per week. Additionally, you will receive discounts on movies, Broadway shows, amusement parks, and gym memberships, as well as access to various programs at Educational Alliance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or higher, along with on-the-job experience in a hospitality or front-of-house environment. Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy are essential.
