Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Veterinarian II to join our team. As a Hospital Veterinarian II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our medical team, and upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent patient care by performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care.
  • Collaborate with our medical team to develop treatment plans and ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Document all patient observations, findings, treatments, and medications in the medical record.
  • Perform routine and complex surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
  • Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located.
  • Current DEA license.
  • USDA Category I Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Compassionate and sympathetic demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.
