Tax Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our tax practice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.
About the RoleIn this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with our clients to provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities. Your expertise will be utilized to assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff, as well as helping to develop and manage client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-quality tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to clients across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, and technology.
- Assisting in the supervision, development, and coaching of professional tax staff to ensure their continued growth and success.
- Helping to develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client service.
- Representing Forvis Mazars in the marketplace at networking events to promote our brand and services.
- Participating in the proposal process for potential new clients to help identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Contributing to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A solution-finding attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Precise attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
