Halff is seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Public Works team in Shreveport, LA. As a key member of our team, you will assist in related studies, design, and reviews for construction and mapping projects such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, drainage systems, floodplains, public and private infrastructure, pipelines, roadways, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment.

You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers under the mentorship of a Professional Engineer (PE) who is eager to help you grow. Collaborate with a talented design team on public works and land/site development projects, using design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate study results and designs.

Draft reports and present plans to audiences with a wide range of backgrounds and technical knowledge, translating engineering and scientific information into easily digestible concepts. Estimates materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine an estimate of probable construction costs.

Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools is essential. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity software, and technical experience in computer-assisted design (CAD), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design, modeling, data recording, and analyzation related software.
