Job Summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hyperbaric Therapy Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Must have Critical Care and/or Emergency Medicine experience.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
