Physician Center Clinical Director

Concentra seeks a skilled Physician Center Medical Director to provide direct patient care, lead by example, and create an exceptional patient experience.
This 100% clinic-based position provides a unique opportunity for physicians to blend their love of patient care with their management skills, working for a leading occupational health care company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and provide direct patient care, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Manage clinicians, support staff, and comply with APC supervisory requirements.
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment.
- Work with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement.
- Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
- Work with medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels.
- Promote, cultivate, and exemplify Concentra values for all clinic colleagues.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
- Possess financial awareness and provide input to clinic budget and key business metrics.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred.
- FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
