About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Liaison to join our team at GeorgiaGov in Columbus, GA. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to individuals with special needs.



Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with mental health professionals, residents, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, observing and monitoring resident behavior, and providing training on basic personal and social skills.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and housekeeping duties
  • Observe and monitor resident behavior, documenting any changes or concerns
  • Provide training on basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to residents
  • Participate in case reviews, consulting with the team to evaluate resident needs and plan for continuing services
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including preparing records of resident progress and services performed
  • Provide transportation for residents to appointments and activities


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field or one year of experience in a human service setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with mental health professionals
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
  • Valid driver's license required; previous experience working in a residential home or healthcare facility a plus


Working Conditions:

This is a full-time benefit-eligible position, requiring up to 40 hours of work per week. The second shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) includes rotating weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license is required, and some positions may require a TB evaluation and annual influenza vaccination.



What We Offer:
