Medical City Arlington is a leading healthcare provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our orthopedic department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the hospital stay.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working days (rotating weekends) with a competitive salary of $73,000 - $93,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, preferably in an orthopedic setting, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and provide education to patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and ensure efficient transitions throughout the hospital stay
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on their treatment options and post-discharge care
  • Conduct admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and reduce length of stay
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse degree or equivalent required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
  • 2+ years of experience in orthopedic nursing preferred
