Job Overview

Park Aerospace Corp is a leading manufacturing company leveraging Oracle Applications and Databases. The role of Oracle Functional Analyst requires providing functional application support for current applications, participating in development projects, and upgrades.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Business Planning and IT Acquisition: Contribute to the business planning and acquisition of IT-related capital equipment purchases.
  • Application Provider Interface: Primary interface with Park Aerospace application provider/hosting service.
  • Evaluate Application Change Requests: Evaluate application change requests for alignment with the company's business practices.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: Ensure compliance of application change management to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Development Prioritization: Prioritize importance and timing of development activities.
  • IT Issue Resolution: Interact directly with plant and parent company management on IT issues.
  • Functional Support: Provide functional support for Oracle Manufacturing and Financial applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis: Provides routine troubleshooting and support as well as analysis and solution development for functional and technical issues.
  • Oracle Development Interface: Acts as an interface between the Oracle development team and the end users.
  • Business Streamlining: Develops recommendations for business streamlining and efficiencies.
  • Implementation Participation: Participate in the development of Oracle implementations and upgrades, including GAP analysis, re-engineering opportunities, investigation and application of new release functionality, system setup, testing, and training.
  • User Account Management: Create, change, and disable user accounts per request.
  • Tier III Support: Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies, investigating and troubleshooting issues.
