Job Description

Our Village United is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee the execution of our program funding, contractor assignment, budget, and goals from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to coordinate multiple tasks, and have a strong understanding of program development and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate program design, planning, and implementation, including workshops and strategic initiatives.
  • Recruit and coordinate workshop facilitators, prepare materials, and introduce faculty at workshops.
  • Provide direct staff leadership on scheduling, marketing, and outreach, workshop planning, registration, and implementation.
  • Oversee development and revision of promotional materials and registration systems.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate programming, including venue selection, logistics, and coordination.
  • Assess the needs of small businesses through course evaluations, surveys, and word of mouth.
  • Analyze workshop attendance and recommend program improvements.
  • Coordinate participant intake, maintain accurate member data, and provide assistance to members.
  • Build and sustain the community through outreach activities, presentations, and conversations.
  • Maintain web pages and mailing lists, and track program utilization trends.
  • Lead, plan, and review program promotion, exploring new marketing opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Campaigns, nonprofit, and program development and management.
  • Interpersonal skills, tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Principles of training and providing work direction.
  • Public relations techniques.
  • Supervision, training, event, and program planning.
  • Community service, service learning, and volunteerism.

  • Plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Train and provide work direction to others.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with program volunteers, administrators, staff, and the community.

Additional Details:

Pay rate: $25 per hour

Position: Full-time

Hours per week: 40 plus

Pay frequency: Bi-monthly

Paid Training: Yes

Location: Atlanta

Office

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, some evenings and weekend hours due to programs and events held on-site.
