About the Role
We are seeking an Onsite HR Coordinator to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with human resources regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements affecting HR functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
- Support HR activities, such as employee onboarding, leave administration, benefits support, file audits, etc.
- Communicate with Strategic HR Advisors, Managers, and support teams on client-related activities.
- Assist with general administrative functions within the HR department.
- Implement, utilize, and maintain HRIS systems for leave management, benefits administration, and payroll information.
- Compile reports and documents related to HR activities.
- Assist with FMLA/ADA/Personal Leave processing for clients.
- Data entry into HRIS of new hire packets, termination of employment, and other information.
- Help employees update personal information, including direct deposit, federal/state tax setup, contact info, resident/mailing address, etc.
- Respond to employee benefit and leave inquiries.
