Campus Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Registered Dietitian to join our Food Service Nutrition Team with Fresh Ideas at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced registered dietitian to lead our nutrition initiatives and provide expert guidance on food-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition education, training, and corporate wellness programming.

• Develop and implement nutrition education programs for the campus community, including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, and one-on-one counseling.
• Collaborate with the dining management team and culinary associates to ensure dietary needs are met for all customers.
• Provide nutrition-related training, including food allergen awareness, to all associates.
• Assist in menu development and nutrient analysis to ensure high-quality, nutritious options.
• Work closely with marketing to communicate nutrition information effectively to the campus community.
• Leverage sustainability expertise to drive environmentally responsible practices in dining services.
• Promote operational excellence through hands-on work in dining spaces, associate training, and system audits.

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in applicable states.
• Demonstrated ability to present complex information in both individual and group settings.
• Experience working with special diets and food allergies highly desirable.
• ServSafe Manager certification a plus.
