About the Role

Masters Gallery Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weekend Production Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the weekend operations and ensuring the smooth execution of production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Create and adjust daily personnel and production schedules to meet production demand.
  • Employee Management: Monitor, adjust, and correct employee time-keeping punches in our HR system.
  • Vacation Requests: Approve and reject vacation requests based on customer demands and production capacity.
  • Communication: Communicate job codes and punch procedures to production team members.
  • Scheduling and Allocations: Ensure depth charts are up-to-date and communicate with the Production Manager on all current and future scheduling needs.
  • ERP System Management: Make necessary adjustments for scheduling and allocations in our ERP computer system.
  • Audit and Training: Audit and implement training checklists to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • MSLOTO Documentation: Ensure the administration of MSLOTO documentation and monitor and schedule MSLOTO audits.
  • Non-Conformance Forms: Evaluate and complete non-conformance forms for raw materials.
  • Problem-Solving: Lead and assist in investigations to identify problem sources related to scheduling and downtime and make decisions regarding solutions to those problems.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Assist in root cause analysis for safety, quality, and production-related events.
  • Support to Production Supervisor: Assist the Production Supervisor in any duties related to their position as requested.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a production manufacturing setting with experience in a progressively responsible role preferred.
  • Confidentiality: Requires a high level of confidentiality.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Production Knowledge: Specific knowledge of production processes and packaging operations.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use a PC, iPad, and mainframe computer. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, Word, Office 365).
  • Flexibility: Ability to work additional hours as needed.
