Intensive Care Nurse Opportunity in Lawton, Oklahoma

Job Summary: The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, utilizing their expertise in cardiac, neurological, and surgical intensive care. They will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and supporting the growth and development of our patients during their hospital stay.
Responsibilities:
- * Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU, adhering to established standards and protocols.* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, addressing physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients and their families.* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, identifying potential complications and initiating timely interventions.* Develop and maintain accurate, detailed records of patient progress, medication administration, and treatment plans.* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care processes and protocols.
Requirements: To be considered for this ICU nurse position, you must possess a current RN licensure and at least one year of experience working in an ICU setting. You should be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), with a strong understanding of critical care principles and practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
