About the Role

This entry-level position is responsible for receiving, stocking, shipping, ordering, and counting inventory items with precision and attention to detail. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized work environment while ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment by assisting colleagues and supervisors as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and cleaning the workspace, including emptying trash receptacles and keeping bays and staging areas tidy.
  • Receive and process incoming products, commodities, and materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Count and record receipt of materials accurately.
  • Stock all received material in designated bins or storage locations.
  • Collaborate with inventory control to ensure accurate counting and organization of warehouse materials.
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines.
  • Operate forklifts with foot and hand controls.
  • May use forklifts to build outgoing orders or load completed orders onto delivery equipment.
  • Utilize facility equipment, such as banders, power tools, and various hand tools, as necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels according to location management requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of the work environment to produce error-free and damage-free results.
  • Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
  • Willingness to learn reading tape measures.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Ability to handle conflicts constructively and recognize potential problems.
  • Proficiency with current technologies, such as smartphones, inventory control systems, and business applications.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, exposure to extreme temperatures, bending, stooping, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequently up to 100 pounds or more.
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour.
