The Senior Building Automation Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in driving innovation in energy management and automation.

This position will be responsible for project coordination, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Building Automation Systems.

The engineer will work closely with project managers and subcontractors to troubleshoot and problem-solve to maintain system functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure all design engineer activity is aligned with latest conformed construction documents prior to installation.">
  • Collaborate with project manager and procurement personnel on purchasing activity and monitoring budget risks.">
  • Validate hardware and project installation meet design requirements.">
  • Diagnose communication problems, troubleshooting, and tracking software and hardware issues.">
  • Coordinate with on-site contractors for the installation of equipment based on shop drawings.">
  • Act as primary point of contact for subcontractors during installation phase.">
  • Coordinate and addressing issues during installation phase independently.">
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate projects through the installation phase and provide feedback for manpower requirements.">
  • Contribute to a complete operation to service turnover process.">
  • Setup of outside ISP connections and remote connectivity to customer sites.">
  • Re-commission devices, equipment, and software as required.">
  • Assist the PM in material procurement.">
  • Ensure installation tracking sheets are updated regularly.">
  • Prepare customer-training manuals and provide customized training.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • 4+ years' experience as a Systems Application Engineer with related industry knowledge.">
  • Demonstrated communication skills for interfacing directly with customers and other trades.">
  • Experience with HVAC and security installations.">
  • Proficiency in all types of building systems and application of our technology.">
  • Proven experience coordinating project team activities on site, including coordination with other trades, commissioning agents, and customers.">
