About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Urology at UT Health Austin, you will provide exceptional care to patients served in the Clinical Care Units. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality nursing interventions, consistent with the stated medical plan of care. This will involve assessing, implementing, and recording patient responses in their medical records.

You will also schedule patients' appointments, tests, and procedures via our online computer system or telephone, reinforcing physician instructions in person and through phone contact. Additionally, you will provide patient education and document patient responses in medical records.

Your duties may include one or more of the following core functions: directly interacting with or caring for patients, directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants, regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing, or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records), or regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing, or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.

We are seeking an experienced nurse with strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
