Pet Groomer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team at Pet Supplies Plus. As a key member of our grooming team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning.
• Groom and style pets according to owner instructions and/or breed standards.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of our furry patrons.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services.
• Participate in community outreach to attract new customers to our store.
• Successfully complete Safety Training certification.
• Maintain a clean and inviting grooming environment.
• Assist store team members during grooming downtime.
• Continuously develop skills and pet grooming techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1-year of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to provide own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors).
• Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 18 years or older.
