Clinical Nutrition Specialist

Covenant Health (Tennessee) is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Thompson Cancer Survival Center. As a key member of our Social Services department, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition programs for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the nutritional status of patients entering TCSC treatment programs and perform regular follow-up
- Formulate goals and objectives for individual patients and families to foster improved nutrition status
- Establish a routine nutrition screening tool for use with all TCSC patients
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a nutritional assessment protocol for patients at risk or with malnutrition
- Communicate the nutritional support patient care plan to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
Requirements:
- Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Previous clinical nutrition work experience with a history of self-directed activities
