Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at North Coast Seafoods. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive sales growth across retail, club, and foodservice channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok) to create engaging content and grow our online presence.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for restaurant and retail customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create sales and marketing materials, including photography, videography, and editing.
  • Manage and grow our email marketing program to target both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) audiences.
  • Assist in managing digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Instacart.
  • Support public relations strategy, including press release schedules and media outreach.
  • Engage with industry partners to strengthen our brand presence and promote our seafood products across all sales channels.

Requirements:

  • BA in marketing or a related field.
  • 1+ years' experience managing business or entrepreneurial social media accounts.
  • Interest or background in the food industry is a plus.
  • Video editing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proficient in analyzing social media metrics and translating data into actionable steps to improve campaign performance.
  • Proactive thinker, exceptional logic reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and improve performance, efficiency, and product yield.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, with strong-time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Receptive to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Basic graphic design experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other social media analytical tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite preferred (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

  • Provide relevant portfolio samples (edited photos and/or videos, social posts, blogs, etc.).
  • Provide analytics on the success of social media accounts you manage.
