h3Job Description/h3pHarrison Gray Search & Consulting has partnered with a leading insurance brokerage seeking a skilled professional to manage a book of business comprised of middle-market Property & Casualty insurance clients within the Real Estate sector./ppThe ideal candidate will provide quality service to clients, manage and control client relationships, and support producers in their efforts to attract and retain clients. The Account Executive will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts, responsible for the successful fulfillment of corporate strategies and compliance with company workflows and procedures./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliManage daily servicing of clients, including contract analysis, coverage and exposure analysis, endorsement activity, problem-solving, renewal management, preparation of quotes/proposals, and binding of coverage./liliAssist producers and other department staff in closing larger/complex new business as needed./liliAssist in managing new business and renewal workflows of the department./liliAnalyze coverage for gaps and coverage enhancements for new business opportunities, including review of prior policies./liliCreate Broker of Record (BOR) letters and submit to carriers for acceptance./liliOversee and delegate tasks to other team members as needed to ensure the clients' needs are met./liliPerform all technical and clerical functions for the assigned book of business to ensure the insurance service needs of individual clients are met./liliIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell new lines of coverage to existing accounts./liliMaintain proficiency in all technical aspects of the position, including policy review, limits, coverages, program design, solvency issues, and excess & surplus lines placements./liliRemarket and manage renewal activities with the Account Manager/Account Executive/Producer./liliAddress client needs by communicating with the client to ensure that all appropriate resources are being utilized./liliDevelop and maintain complete, accurate, and timely data in EPIC./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliMinimum of 5 years in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency, with a comprehensive understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts./liliExpertise in habitational and commercial real estate is a must./liliAbility to manage a book of business with the following characteristics./liliHigher education designation (CPCU, ARM, CIC, CRM) is preferred./liliExperience with compliance, forecasting, annual audits, and reporting./liliProfessional presentation skills required./liliKnowledgeable about real estate industry trends, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve performance./liliAlthough this position will be primarily responsible for internal account management functions and operations, previous sales management experience and a willingness to mentor others is valued./liliThis position is client-facing and will require some local travel to meet with clients and prospects./liliExcellent verbal and written communications skills, working knowledge of Agency Management Systems, proficiency with office software applications, etc./liliAble to work in a fast-paced environment where time-management and prioritization skills are essential./li/ul
