Job Description

The Senior Data Project Manager will play a key role in driving data and analytics initiatives at Paramount Staffing, leveraging both cloud and on-premises solutions to enable strategic priorities across diverse business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage large teams to deliver structured and unstructured data acquisition, data platform consolidation, and creation of data assets using technologies like Data Mesh/Fabric.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business, Data Analytics (D A) teams, and other IT teams.
  • Apply project controls including scoping, timeline identification, key milestones, risk and issue tracking, status reporting, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure alignment and communication at all levels, including VP/GM, and drive project milestones through collaboration.
  • Manage Data Strategy and develop business cases and ROI models.
  • Own communication channels for assigned projects, including stakeholder meetings and cross-team alignments.
  • Track the business impact of D A solutions and support the adoption process.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support the corporate governance process.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management for large-scale projects.
  • 8+ years of experience in data and analytics architecture, data management, and platform migration programs.
  • Strong understanding of data creation in production systems and architecture patterns for data consumption (AI/BI/App/Self-Service).
  • Proven experience in developing business cases, ROI, and enterprise data strategy roadmaps.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing globally dispersed teams and projects adhering to budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing data project deployments using cloud and on-premises solutions.
  • Agile-Scrum methodology certification is a plus.
  • PMO certification (PMP, Scrum Master) is preferred.
  • Exposure to Data Engineering, D A architecture patterns, BI, and AI.
Certifications:
  • PMP, Scrum Master (preferred).
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Information Management.
