Job Overview

Kelberman Center Inc is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavior Analyst to lead our team in providing quality behavior analytic treatment to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building collaborative partnership initiatives, leading clinical, educational, and administrative teams, and providing direct services and support to existing programs consistent with best practices in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designs, implements, and supervises the implementation of assessment and treatments based on behavioral analytic principles drawn from the literature.
  • Provides support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing applied behavior analytic services, including functional behavior assessments and analyses and function-matched behavior intervention plans.
  • Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs and designs behavior intervention plans based on functional assessment data.
  • Creates and maintains ongoing data collection systems to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all clients/students/residents.
  • Analyzes data on a frequent and ongoing basis to make data-based decisions.
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field, Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification, NY License in Behavior Analysis, or license eligibility, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills, and the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances are warranted. Travel and transport are required, and a valid NYS Driver's License is necessary.

The salary for this role is approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
