Overview

Job Description

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, personal care, and accompanying them on outings. Your role will involve:

  • Light housekeeping, including laundry and basic cleaning
  • Personal activities such as dressing, medication assistance, and meal preparation
  • Accompanying clients to and from appointments, shopping, and other activities outside the home
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • No prior experience is required, but previous Personal Care Assistant experience is a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Dedication to ongoing training and professional development

Eligibility Requirements

Caregivers must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Previous Personal Care Assistant experience is a plus, but not required
  • Access to insured and reliable transportation
  • Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
Physical Qualifications

Candidates should be able to:

  • Move, transport or position up to 100 lbs
  • Move or traverse about in offices and/or client homes, including ascending and descending stairs
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information
