Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fast Pace Health. This role involves delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient satisfaction and comprehensive care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a flexible schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance. You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing fractures, administering non-surgical interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies
  • Administer non-surgical fracture reductions
  • Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections
  • Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound
  • Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions
  • Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts
  • Educate patients on cast care and potential complications
  • Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment
Requirements
  • 1+ year of outpatient experience as an Orthopedic Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN)
  • 1+ year of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
