Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team at Jackson Hewitt. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing accurate tax returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients to gather necessary information for tax preparation.
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
  • Provide clients with IRS audit support and answer questions regarding tax-related matters.
  • Collect and process clients' payments, ensuring timely deposits.
  • Market and generate business growth, increasing client retention and offering additional products and services.
Requirements
  • Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of computer functions and math.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
