Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Learning Center Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center, including sales, marketing, student success, parent relationships, community outreach, and administrative duties.


Sales and Marketing
  • Diagnose learning gaps and create tailored learning plans for students through administering math assessments.
  • Enroll students in the Mathnasium program while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Owner to manage sales, enrollment, and marketing activities.
  • Promote the Mathnasium program through effective interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Student Success
  • Balancing educational duties such as administering assessments, diagnosing student learning gaps, and prescribing an effective learning plan.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Parent Relationships
  • Provide exceptional service to students and families throughout their Mathnasium journey.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, address inquiries and concerns, and solicit feedback to enhance the student experience.

Community and Schools Outreach
  • Develop strong relationships with local communities and schools to promote Mathnasium offerings.
  • Promote the center through market development initiatives, social media management, and community events.

Administrative Duties
  • Ensure efficient operation of the center by delegating tasks and duties to team members.
  • Manage employee scheduling, utilize center management software, and maintain a clean work environment.

Training and Development
  • Screen, hire, train, motivate, and develop employees to effectively staff the center.
  • Lead employee development and manager duties, including on-the-job training and coaching.

Qualifications
  • Recent college graduate or professional with a degree in mathematics, sciences, engineering, communications, or teaching.
  • Strong foundational math skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Office applications.

Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
