Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Medical Director to lead our successful transition from a Level III Trauma program to an ACS Level II Trauma Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the hospital's accreditation as an ACS verified Trauma II Center.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in managing clinical processes and systems related to trauma care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the hospital's accreditation as an ACS verified Trauma II Center
  • Growing and solidifying the network of referring facilities
  • Supporting the hospital's strategic goals and objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory body survey requirements
  • Integrating the Trauma program with Acute Care Surgery and the ICU programs
  • Participating in process improvement and medical education efforts
Key Responsibilities

The Trauma Medical Director will be directly responsible for:

  • Planning, implementation, monitoring, recruiting for, and improvement of clinical processes and systems related to the Trauma program
  • Performing clinical duties as a Surgeon, including Trauma Surgery and Trauma call
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires 50% administrative work and 50% clinical work. The Group will offer a competitive financial and fringe benefits package, including a salary range of $**300,000 - $350,000 per year**, based on experience and qualifications.
