Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant - Transaction Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental practice, you will be responsible for supporting project tasks according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves conducting site visits, completing Environmental Site Assessments, and providing recommendations and solutions to project managers and clients. Your understanding of the assessment's potential impact on the transaction process will be essential in ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Complete specific project tasks as directed by the project manager, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct project research, including historical and analytical studies, to support the scope of work.
  • Compile and organize data, author technical reports, and prepare quality supporting documents.
  • Communicate project progress and issues with the project manager and team members.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Deliver progress reports and recommendations to the project manager and client.


Requirements
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biological, physical, or environmental sciences from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting experience, preferably in environmental services.


Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships within the team.


Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000, based on factors such as skill sets, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive salary, you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus program.
