Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Training Manager to join our team at Bethesda Health. As a key member of our staff development department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that promote regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and quality improvement in long-term care settings.

About the Role

You will work closely with our Director of Nursing and other stakeholders to identify training needs, develop curricula, and conduct in-service training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, focusing on regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and quality improvement.
  • Coordinate orientation activities, create lesson plans, and conduct in-service training sessions.
  • Lead infection prevention initiatives and contribute to quality improvement activities to enhance resident care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure public health requirements are met.
  • Assist with mentor programs and promote a culture of staff development.
  • Develop educational programs based on needs identified through continuous quality improvement (QAPI) activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Current RN license in Missouri and Illinois.
  • CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Able to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
What We Offer

Bethesda Health offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
