Job Description

We are offering an estimated salary of $65,000 per year for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing: Prepare and submit request for quotations to suppliers to achieve cost and lead times for specified products and services.
  • Procurement: Procure goods and/or services while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contract documents.
  • Order Management: Draft clear and accurate Purchase Orders for required Parts & Services.
  • Vendor Management: Expedite and follow-up with vendors to ensure delivery of ordered products and services.
  • Shipping Coordination: Work with shipping to ensure that all required delivery requirements are completed on time.
  • Inspections: Assist with shipment inspections as needed.
  • Proposal Preparation: Research prior responses and organize all information needed for proposals.
  • Proposal Writing: Draft clear, accurate and comprehensive proposals to clients.
  • Documentation Tracking: Track all documentation, shipments, and payments.
  • Procurement Support: Support procurement as needed with vendor onboarding and issuing Purchase Orders to vendors.
  • Data Analysis: Assist with preparing vendor/supplier scorecard data, business review presentations, etc.
  • Maintaining Records: Maintain records and files.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or associate's degree from an accredited program in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Excellent proofreading, editing and business software skills.
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills; collaboration skills; verbal and written communication skills; and information research and gathering skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, suppliers and fellow team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to deliver quality work that consistently meets requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal capabilities.
