Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Revenue Growth Professional to join our team at DoubleTree Denver-Cherry Creek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets through effective solicitation calls, sales tours, and client entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals.
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel sales experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.
  • Experience with professional selling skills desired: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.
  • The ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $50,000.00/Yr. and $63,120.00/Yr., depending on qualifications and experience.
