Overview
">This role involves developing, implementing and leading clinical education efforts for Mercy clinics in Northwest Arkansas. The professional assists with strategic planning for consolidated clinical education services and leads clinic education services scope: orientation, competency program, in-service education, and continuing education in assigned community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Education Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive clinical education plans to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Training and Development: Lead training sessions for healthcare professionals on various topics, including patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response.
- Competency Assessment: Design and administer competency assessments to evaluate the skills of healthcare professionals.
- In-Service Education: Organize and conduct in-service education programs to keep healthcare professionals up-to-date on the latest clinical practices.
- Continuing Education: Plan and coordinate continuing education opportunities for healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a clinical, educational, or management area of expertise. A certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a clinical, educational, or management area of expertise. Advanced clinical education and/or training/education certification are desirable.
- Experience: Three years of experience in training and development, one year of clinic experience, and three years of experience leading people, processes, or projects.
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Preferred Certifications/Other: Advanced clinical education and/or training/education certification are desirable.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes day-one health, vision, and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and employer-matched retirement funds.
