Residency Program Director for Internal Medicine in Southern California

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Internal Medicine Residency Program in Southern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall administration, curriculum planning, recruitment, and teaching and supervision of our IM Residency Program.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Teaching and Supervision of Residents: Provide high-quality clinical teaching and supervision to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible education and training.
- Core Program Clinical Teaching: Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical teaching program that meets the needs of our residents and aligns with the standards of our institution.
- General Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the program, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities management.
- GME Committees/Meetings: Participate in GME committees and meetings to ensure the program's integration with hospital clinical services and physician practices.
- GME Lecturing/Teaching Conferences: Develop and deliver lectures and teaching conferences to residents and faculty members.
- GME Recruiting/Interviewing: Lead the recruitment and interviewing process for new residents, ensuring we attract the best talent.
- GME Research/Scholarly Activity: Foster a culture of research and scholarly activity among our residents, providing guidance and support for their projects.
- Resident Evaluation/Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and monitor the performance of our residents, providing feedback and support for their growth and development.
- Program Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of the program's effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
