Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon and Systems Validation Engineer to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our hardware validation team, you will be responsible for developing and executing post-silicon validation plans, tools, and infrastructure for our custom SoCs and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans, tools, and infrastructure for custom SoCs and platforms
  • Collaborate with diverse teams in hardware design, schematic reviews, firmware development, and building automated test infrastructures
  • Write test plans, develop test cases, and catch design bugs before production
  • Characterize and improve power and performance consumption at a system level
  • Perform Failure Analysis on CM and field return units
  • Write firmware & driver code for platform bring-up and stress-testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent major with 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in PCIe Gen6 bringup and validation of SOCs, switches, network, and datacenter applications
  • Familiar with design/debug of ARM or x86 System on Chip Architectures
  • Experience in Silicon bringup and validation, and PCBA/Platform debug
  • Experience with Statistical Data Analysis and Design of Experiments
  • Experience with Electrical Testing and Protocol Analyzer equipment
  • Familiar with Linux OS and Scripting
