Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory specimens, while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, process, and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Implement effective solutions to recognize and address corrective actions in the laboratory environment
- Work in a laboratory setting with biological hazards and PPE requirements, championing safety and compliance
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a high level of quality and productivity in the laboratory
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
- 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
