Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Ohio Department of Commerce. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project managers, sponsors, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on-time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively.
