Compassionate Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at Mt. Arlington Senior Living.
Job SummaryThe Compassionate Support Specialist will provide support for our community's residents with essential day-to-day tasks, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support residents with medication administration.
- Reposition residents in bed and escort them around the community.
- Provide toileting and incontinent care services.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse.
- Observe and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively.
- Detail daily reports to the Nurse or designated charge person at the end of each shift.
- Offer emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones.
- Assist residents with mobility, helping them get in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs.
- Assist residents with eating and drinking.
- A minimum of 18 years old, or the age required by state regulations, whichever is higher.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, although mandatory in certain states.
- Working experience alone, on a team, and on projects start to finish.
- Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills.
- Dedication to the medical field, especially towards working with the residents.
- Must pass State and company background checks and drug test.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Mt. Arlington Senior Living is a beautiful community located in Mt. Arlington, NJ, offering assisted living and Alzheimer's care for over 100 residents.
Estimated Salary Range$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
