As a Sterile Processing Tech at UTMB Health, you will play a critical role in preparing, assembling, maintaining, and transporting surgical trays, instruments, and equipment. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble surgical trays, instruments, and equipment according to established tray listings.
- Maintain and transport surgical equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and stored.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred six (6) months related experience.
