Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $83,000-$110,000, depending on experience, with additional benefits including mileage stipend, health insurance, paid time off, referral program, and strong onboarding and mentoring program.
Job DescriptionThis dynamic role involves providing physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. Key responsibilities include assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, participating in the development of the total plan of care, and reporting to physicians patient's reaction to treatment or changes in condition.
Ongoing tasks also involve directing physical therapy treatment, instructing patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances, determining priority needs for physical therapy, and preparing and submitting clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, be licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist within the state, and demonstrate good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
Candidates should also hold current CPR certification, have a valid driver's license with an insured automobile, and exhibit flexibility with scheduling.
